Puerto Princesa: Noki Nocs Savory House – just can’t get enough!

After our Underground River Tour, our tour guide suggested us to go to Nokinocs for Merienda. She said that the Halo-Halo there is one of a kind. Like once you’ve tasted it, you’ll never get enough. That again tickled our curious minds. But since we’re scheduled for Firefly Watching Tour that night and we have to be back before 5:30pm at our hotel, we decided to try it the next day before our flight back to Manila.

We ordered 2 Halo-Halo, 1 Carbonara and 1 Palabok.

I and my hubby ended up debating… debating about this Halo-Halo! We kept on guessing about the secret ingredient or procedure Nokinocs has for this one. It’s the ice, powdered ice! Just like what our tour guide told us is enough to make you go uhmmm… uhmmm... uhmmm…

We even asked the waiter about the Halo-Halo, if what magic whatsoever do they put to make it so yummy! Unfortunately, the waiter said he doesn’t know... or we think he doesn’t want to let us know haha! We’ll, I guess that’s why they call it “secret ingredient”, it’s meant to be secret.

After all the debate and guessing, before we knew it… the tall halo-halo glass is already empty.
